How to Play: CFL Fan of the Year

1. Enter the Contest:

• Submit Your Entry: Share why you're CFL's 2025 biggest fan by filling out the entry form at https://gamezone.cfl.ca/fanoftheyear/baffin. Include your details, select your favorite team, and tell your story.
• Choose Your Format: Submit either:
  • A photo and write-up (maximum 500 words), OR
  • A video (maximum 60 seconds)
• Show Your Passion: Be creative and demonstrate why you deserve to be the CFL Fan of the Year!

2. Submission Period:

• Phase 1 - Nominations: Submit your entry between August 18th at 12 p.m. ET and September 22nd at 12 p.m. ET
• One Entry Per Person: You can submit one nomination during this period

3. Finalist Selection:

• Review and Shortlisting: After the submission period ends, entries will be reviewed and 9 finalists will be selected by the sponsor
• Finalist Announcement: The Top 9 finalists will be announced on September 26th and notified by email from [e-mail]
• Public Display: Finalist entries will be published on the CFL website and social media for public voting

4. Voting Phase:

• Phase 2 - Fan Voting: Public voting opens October 13th at 12 p.m. ET and runs until October 31st at 12 p.m. ET
• How to Vote:
  • Create or log into your free CFL Gamezone account
  • Vote for your favorite finalist (up to one vote per day while logged in)
  • Earn entries into the Fan Voting Prize draw (up to 25 entries maximum)
• Rally Support: Encourage friends and fellow fans to vote for your entry!

5. Win Exciting Prizes:

Fan of the Year Prize (1 winner) - $7,000 value:

• 2026 Season Tickets to your chosen CFL team ($2,000 value)
• Line-up of Baffin boots of your choice ($1,500 value)
• Ultimate pre-game experience with the Grey Cup Trophy at your tailgate ($3,000 value)
• $500 of CFL merchandise of your choice

Runner-Up Prizes (8 winners):

• One pair of Baffin boots of your choice ($250 value each)

Fan Voting Prize (1 winner) - $700 value:

• One pair of Baffin boots of your choice ($250 value)
• Two tickets to a 2025 regular season CFL game of your choice ($450 value)

6. Winner Selection:

• Fan of the Year Winner: The Top 9 finalist with the highest number of votes wins the grand prize (announced October 31st)
• Runner-Up Winners: The remaining 8 finalists each receive Baffin boots
• Fan Voting Winner: One voter will be randomly selected from all eligible voting entries

7. Spread the Word:

• Share Your Entry: After submitting, promote your fan story on social media
• Engage with the Community: Watch other submissions and participate in the CFL fan community
• Vote for Others: Support your fellow fans during the voting period

Important Notes:

• Contest open to Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory
• Make sure your submission follows contest guidelines (no inappropriate content)
• Winners must correctly answer a skill-testing question and sign release forms
• Travel and accommodation expenses are not included with prizes
• By entering, you agree to the contest's official terms and conditions
