Q1: How many submissions can I enter?

A: You can only enter one submission for the CFL Fan of the Year contest. Make sure your entry showcases why you're CFL's 2026 biggest fan!

Q2: When is the submission deadline?

A: The deadline to submit your entry is September 2nd at 10 a.m. ET. Don't miss out on your chance to be part of this exciting contest!

Q3: How will the finalists be chosen?

A: After the submission period closes, the sponsor will review all entries and select 9 finalists based on their sole and absolute discretion from all Fan of the Year nominations.

Q4: When will the finalists be announced?

A: The 9 finalists will be announced on September 26th. Finalists will be notified by email from [e-mail], and their entries will be published on the CFL website and social media for public voting.

Q5: How does voting work?

A: Voting opens on September 30th at 12 p.m. ET and runs until October 21st at 12 p.m. ET. You must log into your CFL Gamezone account to vote. You can vote once per day for your favorite finalist, and each vote also enters you into the Fan Voting Prize draw (up to 25 entries maximum).

Q6: Can I vote more than once?

A: Yes, you can vote once per day for your favorite finalist during the voting period, but you must be logged into your CFL Gamezone account for your votes to count. Each daily vote also gives you an entry into the Fan Voting Prize draw.

Q7: What are the prizes?

A: Fan of the Year Prize ($7,000 value): 2026 season tickets to your chosen CFL team, line-up of Baffin boots, ultimate pre-game experience with the Grey Cup Trophy at your tailgate, and $500 of CFL merchandise. Runner-Up Prizes (8 winners): One pair of Baffin boots each. Fan Voting Prize ($700 value): One pair of Baffin boots and two tickets to a 2027 regular season CFL game.

Q8: Can I share my submission on social media?

A: Absolutely! After submitting your entry, feel free to share it on social media and encourage your friends, family, and fellow fans to vote for you during the voting period.

Q9: What should I include in my submission?

A: Your submission should explain why you are CFL's 2026 biggest fan. You can submit either: a photo and write-up (maximum 500 words) OR a video (maximum 60 seconds). You'll also need to select your favorite CFL team from the dropdown menu.

Q10: Do I need a CFL Gamezone account?

A: You don't need a Gamezone account to submit your nomination, but you DO need one to vote during the voting phase. Creating a CFL Gamezone account is free and also enters you into the Fan Voting Prize draw when you vote.

Q11: Who is eligible to enter?

A: The contest is open to residents of Canada who have reached the legal age of majority in their province/territory. Employees of Baffin, CFL, and related entities are not eligible.

Q12: Where can I find the contest rules?

A: You can find the complete contest rules and guidelines on the CFL Fan of the Year page under the "Terms & Conditions" section.

Q13: What happens if I win?

A: Winners will be contacted by email from [e-mail] within 3-5 business days of selection. You'll need to correctly answer a skill-testing question and sign release forms. Note that travel and accommodation expenses are not included with prizes and are your responsibility.

Q14: When are winners announced?

A: All winners (Fan of the Year, Runner-Up, and Fan Voting Prize) will be selected and announced on October 21st, 2026.
